Air New Zealand is advertising its Pink Flight to Sydney from San Francisco on February 26. It’s aimed at anyone wanting to “get an early start on the Sydney Mardi Gras”. Air NZ is offering a pre-flight party at SF airport, award-winning food and wine on board, along with screening of classic gay-themed movies, drag shows, and a stand-up comedienne called Kathy. Prior to arrival Air NZ will provide pink cocktails, goodie bags and a “party wake up to prepare you for landing in Sydney”. Clever marketing.
