Bone-shaking buses in LA

Metro, the company that runs public transport in Los Angeles, proudly calls itself America’s best public transport service. After 2 journeys, last night and this morning, on the 720 Rapid route along Wilshire Blvd, and other slower routes elsewhere, I would dispute the claim. My back is still aching from the bone-crunching jolts as the bus went over countless potholes. The buses clearly have no suspension, or the potholes had destroyed the suspension. Ouch! Each time the rear door opened it made a sound like Darth Vader talking. Fascinating.
